Please read these Terms of Service carefully before creating an account, booking beauty services, or listing a salon business on Saloonat.
1Acceptance & Eligibility
By accessing the Saloonat platform, registering an account, or downloading the Saloonat Customer App or Saloonat Vendor App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, execute bookings, or enter into merchant contracts.
2User & Business Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration.
Salon merchants and beauty providers must maintain valid commercial registrations, municipality permits, and relevant professional licensing throughout their platform engagement.
3Marketplace Booking Protocol
Saloonat functions as a digital marketplace intermediary connecting clients with independent salons, stylists, and wellness clinics. When a booking is confirmed, a direct contract for service delivery is established between the client and the respective salon merchant.
Clients are expected to arrive 5–10 minutes prior to scheduled slots. Delays exceeding 15 minutes may result in cancellation or forfeiture as a no-show under the salon’s policy.
4Pricing, Payments & Taxes
All service prices displayed across the platform include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) unless explicitly indicated. Online payments are tokenized and processed securely through certified gateway infrastructure supporting Mada, Apple Pay, Visa, and Mastercard.
5Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Cancellation terms and refund windows are configured per salon merchant (e.g., 2 hours to 24 hours prior to appointment time):
Cancellations initiated before the deadline receive a 100% automated refund to the original payment instrument.
Late cancellations or failure to show up without prior notice may incur a cancellation fee as set in the salon’s policy.
6Salon Merchant Obligations
Merchants registered on Saloonat Vendor agree to adhere to the following core standards:
- Strict adherence to confirmed appointment schedules without unauthorized cancellations.
- Enforcing rigorous sanitation, hygiene, and health safety standards mandated by municipal authorities.
- Guaranteeing price parity between in-app listings and in-store salon pricing without hidden surcharges.
- Keeping staff availability, branch schedules, and break times continuously synchronized.
7Prohibited Conduct
Users may not post deceptive reviews, attempt to circumvent platform booking/billing infrastructure, harvest data, or engage in abusive conduct toward clients or salon personnel. Saloonat reserves the right to suspend or terminate non-compliant accounts immediately.
8Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we enforce strict merchant vetting, direct service execution and salon quality remain the contractual responsibility of the independent merchant.
9Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent commercial courts.
